MFL MarMac High School Musician Selected for District Honor Band
Ryan from the MFL MarMac High School Band has been selected to participate in the Northeast Iowa Bandmasters’ Association Honor Band Festival on Saturday, December 5, 2015. This student will perform in one of two 124 piece ensembles made up of instrumentalists from 60 schools in Northeast Iowa.
The student will rehearse all day Saturday and present a concert at 7:00 pm in the Oelwein High School Gymnasium. The two bands will be under the direction of Kevin Kastens, from the University of Iowa, and Curran Pendergast, from Truman State University, Kirksville, Missouri.
